Sr. Mary Vianney
I am happy to be teaching 5th grade at St. James School. This is my first assignment as a Religious Sister, although I was able to work at St. James School before I entered the School Sisters of Christ the King. I enjoy teaching 5th grade primarily because of the students – my favorite moments are when we are discovering with awe and wonder the beauty and goodness and truth that God has given us through mathmatics, liturature, nature, and the arts.
I am originally from Colorado, and some of my favorite memories are working with my family on our farm and going hiking in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I received an art education degree from Benedictine College, where I met our Community. Some of my favorite leisure activities are painting and music, as well as being outdoors.
