Meet Miss Potter!
We are lucky to have Miss Courtney Potter with us this year as a school assistant. Miss Potter does a variety of jobs at St. James. She spends time one-on-one with students in math and reading, helps at recess, does all the sanitizing and other duties as assigned with a smile.
Originally from Valparaiso, NE, Miss Potter graduated from Raymond Central HS and attended Minnesota State Univ. and majored in Elementary Education and also played on the softball team. She is currently discerning with the School Sisters of Christ the King and taking classes through the Newman Institute at the UNL Newman Center.
Miss Potter's favorite thing about St. James is the children. In her words, "They each have such beautiful souls. By interacting with them, you can tell that God's love for them is so present and it is also clear that they want to know and love Him as well. I also love the faculty and staff at St. James. They each love the students so dearly, and desire for them to know and love Christ. This makes the atmosphere of the school such an enjoyable place to be!"
Thank you, Miss Potter, for all you do for St. James. Your daily smiles remind us that God is present in each of us!
